2011 HONDA CR-ZX

never understood why people fapped their meatswords to this car
the original crx was pretty because it was a revolutionary sport compact car for its time, but this is just another one of your cookie cutter slow as balls hybrids. i dont see what all the fuss is about, nostalgia aside.

Si engine in it, or Si power or fail!!!!!!!!! They better have a Si model or this thing with 98HP or 120HP is going to suck. You can't carry too much corner speed if the motor won't let you get up to speed quickly in the first place. In between corners are straights.

Pull that front opening down about six more inches from the H badge for US bumper regs, lose the side skirts and go with more conservative wheels and you've probably got a production car. Side mirrors will probably be the same as on the Insight, and I'd guess the door handles will be color matched to the body.

The car is not going to have 98hp in the U.S.
The Insight weighs 2700lb and blasts to 60mph in 10.3 seconds. Slow, I know. Honda only claimed the CR-Z would have a tweaked version of the IMA hybrid system. IMO, the car will have about 140hp. That should make it accelerate at acceptable speeds.
As stated above, Si engine FTW in the higher version. We all know Honda isnt going over 200hp.

Can we throw this thread along with the others for photoshopped cars that I don't believe will happen unless I see them tested around a track?
The new Subie/yota coupe can be the thread starter and throw this car in here as well.
Good concept, back looks ugly.

There is also talk of it having a manual transmission. I read it elsewhere and MotorTrend was even reporting it. Perhaps thats what took so damn long. Honda was toying with one that would last longer than the original Insight's MT.
