Looks softer, like a Mitsubishi to me.

I like the front more so than the back.

on increasing gas mileage across the board on the lower end models.
on the lame Si engine.

I like it, nice evolution, still loads better than a corolla, and the si is still better than a tc. Is it MS3/cobalt ss/focus rs/etc caliber? Nope, but it offers a different package for a different set of priorities.
I'm still staying tuned for the new crz though.

LOL at the SI version. 3HP increase. Yep, sounds like Honda all right.

I hope the car is better in the details because on the surface this is a step back. The outside doesn't look better. It looks cheaper and a bit more awkward. At the same time Honda didn't fix the stupid two tier IP cluster.

It will sell because it's a Civic and fundamentally likely a decent car. However, they need to ask Ford or Hyundai how to make a good looking/functional IP cluster.

Good call - roofline/windows are very 4G Eclipse. Gross.

Whatever - its a Civic. I feel the same as the majority of people's attitudes that buy these cars - its cheap, reliable transportation that gets you from A to B.

If boring had a picture it would be this. It has the emotion of a toaster.
