As I said earlier, the Viper came out recently. The design cycle of a car is such that the Corvette design was CERTAINLY frozen by the time the Viper pictures were public. Now GM probably has good spies so perhaps they knew things before the general public but to assume they just ripped off the Viper ignores the reality of car design. The unfortunate thing for GM is they reached many of the same design conclusions but 6 months or so after Chrysler.

yay! C7's are out so the C6s will drop in price!
I'm still in love with the body style of the C6. The C7 looks too...gadgety to me. I think the C6 will stand the tests of time better than the C7.

Too me the C6 was the best ever corvette and it looks like the C7 will overtake that. I honestly love everything about this new design. I understand why people don't like the Camaro like tail lights, but IMO it looks very good. The interior looks modern and well designed. It's lighter, faster, and more advanced while still offering a true manual gear box all in an affordable package. What is there not to like?

I think the 4 round(ish) lights could have been integrated into that rear panel quite nicely (or at least no worse than the current lights). I'm not in love with the new tail. In fact in many ways I think it's the worst part of the car. It's not actually bad but I don't like the lower, outer, vertical elements. It's also on the busy side.

wait so the new one is heavier? that's backwards. apparently in some video on the C7 they said the new car is 100lbs heavier than the old one? the f@#k is that? I did see some literature saying it was 33XX.

old car was 32XX. That's kind of lame.
