2016 Honda Pilot
Been looking into getting my wife a 2016 honda pilot but it seems the leases on them is absolutely terrible, unless putting a shit ton of money down. just curious to know if anyone here bought or leased on and what kind of deal you got.
Yeah the 2016 is the new model year. I live in suburbia and based on the amount I am seeing on the road, I would bet it would be hard to get a sweet deal on one...
Saw a few reviews that said they are pretty nice. however the looks are kind of meh and the body shape/size make the wheels look like they are 205mm width when in fact they are 245's.

From what I've heard, the higher-trim models are in high demand so deals are tougher to get.
Lower trim models may be easier to deal on but inventory levels are still decently low so Honda isn't really putting much (if any) money on the hood to boost sales.

To the OP.
I'm a sales person at a Honda store in NJ and there are no incentives and or good lease programs available at the moment cause they're sold out without them. Honda has a habit of not promoting or discounting vehicles unless theres a lot of availability or it simply doesn't sell well. In this case the pilot is selling faster than they can build them which is a good thing for me cause it keeps my profits up.. We got notice a few months ago that the company that makes the 20" wheels for the touring models actually ran out of wheels and cant keep up with the demand lol I currently only have 4 pilots in stock and we carry an inventory of 400 cars total.. If you're looking for a better deal check out the mdx as you can get one for similar money or less depending on trim level. Based on my 14 years of sales experience with Honda I don't see them coming out with any sort of aggressive lease/buy program for atleast another year or more if theyre still selling like hot cakes.
For example expect to pay between $400-475 for cloth,500-575 for leather and 600-700 for touring and elites on a lease with minimal down.. Sounds crazy but its doing great and we're usually sold out or taking orders for them.
