How many hours will it last with that kind of power?

Well then you wouldn't have asked about the high torque numbers. 3 rotor engines make significantly higher amount of torque than a 2 rotor.....case in point, the Mazda Cosmo, 3 rotor, 300bhp, 300tq. It's not the turbo charger that would increase the number that high, it's the engine itself.

Neat. But I would put it into a ditch in no time.

wish I had a sound clip, the three rotor engine sounds wicked...two rotor engines can be annoying (I always wear earplugs)
The sound of the 3-rotor is almost indescribable, but sweet at the same time. The 2-rotor reminds me of "BRUP BRUP"!

the 2 rotor has been affectionately referred to as "a lawnmower on crack"

all the parroted "unreliable" stuff comes stems from the overly complex, relatively fragile sequential twin turbo system on the stock FD, when that's in the garbage can (along with the stock ECU), there is tremendous progress...it's been three years for me and zero issues
With all this stuff you have to replace, why not start with an LS1?

Might as well. I think it comes down to whether you want to have a great motor that isn't a rotary or if you don't mind pulling the rotary engine out of the car every so often to replace the seals. The nice thing about a rotary is it has basically one moving part, the bad thing is replacing seals means cracking the whole thing open.
