With all this stuff you have to replace, why not start with an LS1?
that's what the majority of people do, but an LSx swap is unoriginal/boring imo, and V8s know their own tune...packing a turbo into the engine bay with an LS1 would also be a neat trick

replacing the apex seals depends on many different factors, I'm a big fan of OEM 3 mm seals

I'd rather be "bored" with a V8, instead of fixing seals. I have better things to do with my time and money.

the parroted hype about "fixing seals" comes from people who don't know much of anything about rotaries....I put six years and 70k on my first engine, and it would have gone another 70k at stock boost levels

the boosted rotary community is still learning/maturing...there are good builders/tuners and there are crap builders/tuners....the latter give the community a bad name

I know a few more who don't know anything about rotaries, and therefore should just keep a lid on it

it's not often you see a 740 rwhp single turbo Supra getting walked
If that RX7 has 746rwhp, then that explains it. 746rwhp in a lighter car > 740rwhp in a heavier car.

at that speed, the weight advantage isn't a significant factor, but the better Cd is
