My very first car when I was 16 was a base model "Stealth" (Dodge re-branded 3000GT). The car leaked both oil and power steering fluid when I bought it, and handled like an absolute boat.

Also, there aren't many aftermarket companies that support the 3000GT, and finding replacement parts will be expensive. I really wouldn't recommend using one as a tuner car.

Try working on my car! That 3000GT looks easy!

Anyway, the formula is great. AWD, turbos and a V6 320hp. But it's downfall is weight. I guess it would be like a B5 S4 lol.

When I was in high school I had a friend who had one. It was always getting serviced. I don't understand why on God's green earth you'd pick that car over a host of better, faster and more reliable cars? Unless you are into self punishment...

old school Mitsu's like this are horribly unreliable. You'd be better off with a 300ZX TT

Unless you really like that car, I'd have to agree. But it'd be dope to see a clean, fast one running around.

300zx TT is not reliable by any means BUT their power train is built like a Russian tank, better than the tranny bomb of a 3000gt, better of with any other DSM made. Honestly I dont think there was a true sports car mad in the 90's that was "reliable" they all had weak points that showed up with even normal driving. Strong trans and rear end on the ZX just weak synchros and a severely packed engine bay injector problems and the wiring harnesses like to cook on them. I'd still buy one though.

A Z31 perhaps? Cheap, RWD, MT and a robust V6.
Saw this on Opposite Lock today. Could it be the best looking Nissan in existence?

No, it's a close 3rd though. Z32 is still the best looking Z and best looking Nissan.
