Here is the same car that someone took pics of at Car & Driver headquarters a month ago. This is the "track model" with a test price of $34619. Estimated 287hp with 274lb feet of torque. Weight is 3322lbs (ouch).

0-30 2.0 seconds
0-60 5.4 seconds
0-100 13.9 seconds
0-120 21.4 seconds (S2000's start to lose between 100 and 120)
0-140 34.3 seconds

The S2000 beats it on price when you consider all the accessories that a person needs, then kicks ass in every category except acceleration.

Oh, and by the way, The Z is not a convertible.

OK, so for the right foot it's a hoot. But for the rest... Yawn!

I've had two Nissan products. Based on the poor reliability I experienced, I'd rather get the Corvette for the fully loaded (no leather?) price of the Z.

The magazine doesn't mention the S2000, they talk like there's nothing between the MR-2 and the Corvette. How shallow!

Don't want to be buying 18" tires, that'd be way too much upkeep! Especially on a car that looks like a Celica ran into a TT

At white price? Given their current pricing scheme, I expect around $36K to start and $40K properly equipped.

I'm sure it might undercut a Boxster or Bimmer, but that's about it.
