Default 350Z vs Recall

http://kyw.com/consumer/local_story_303161206.html

The recall affects some top-rated models including the 2001 through 2003 Nissan Altima, the 2003 Infiniti G35 and the sporty 350Z, one of Car and Driver's ten best cars for 2003.

The problem is defective engine sensors, that could cause the vehicle to stall at any time, even while driving and after it stalls. The engine may not restart

I thought recall only happens on Ford and GM products

I heard about a guy in his new 350Z where the car just flat shut down in middle of the road. Bummer...must be related to this recall.

its normal to have a recall , cars cant be perfect
dont forget that our very own s2k has had a recall...something to do with spark plugs i think
if i loved my car , i wouldnt mind a recall to fix a problem, but not something like a ford focus

recalls are ok, until you start having a lot of them. some companies are more prone to recalls

We have 2000 miles on my gf's 350z roadster. No problems yet.
