Hey guys, well I have been looking around at sedans and what not with comparable performance to the S. Seems like so far all I have found is the sti/evo. Anything else I should be considering thats not much more expensive than the s2000?

 

The only thing thats raw that pops into my head is the EVO IX.

 

In a sedan? RWD sedans are what come to mind when thinking of something comparible. Subie's and Evo's are a different beast IMO.

Somthing along the lines of an IS300 is the only thing I can think of. 335i sedan as well as the M3 sedan.

But still, they won't have that same feel as the S2000.

 

What aspects of performance are you concerned with? Almost none will feel like the S2000 if nothing else because you sit farther from the rear axle in a sedan. Quite a number will be as fast.

 

To me the closest thing to a 4 door S2K is RX8. They even look similar.

 

Yeah, I guess which aspect of the S2000 are you trying to replicate with your sedan choice?

 

Nah, those listed are too refined. But I do agree that the AWD might make it feel very different.

 

If it's bang/buck performance then the evo/sti are you only real choices IMO.

 

An E36 M3 Sedan has very similar performance, but will surely feel different than the S. Are you only asking about current cars?
