I find it really funny how everyone on that forum thinks its a great deal! Only person that could buy it would be for straight cash. No way in hell a bank would give a loan for 10 times the value of the car.

Correct. And if you have that much cash laying around (and don't need a loan for the car), I am assuming you won't be looking to be a used/modded Integra. I wouldn't be. I'd be at a Porsche dealership making a down payment on a new 911.

Honestly, this is kind of funny. Because it's an Integra, everyone on here makes fun. I sure as hell wouldn't pay the $40k for it, but someone would.
But if you look at it in perspective, take an S with roughly that much work done to it, and give it an exorbitant price. How many people here would say "great price", or "wish I had the cash" and agree with the asking price. I can quote two off hand, s4play's $52,xxx AP2 (or $87,xxx NSX) and MM's $47,xxx AP1.
Neither worth the asking price, but more than enough nuthuggers to "wish they had the cash" to pay for something they really liked. But it's different because it's an ITR? Some of you need to take a step back and look at things.

He should have focused on his family from the get go instead of wasting it... That's a nice down payment on a house, money for your child's college, IRA's ect..... Poor use of money honestly and his bet is to part it out....

What's the reference to s4play?

Personally, I would not pay an exorbitant amount of money over what a car's original MSRP was just because it has thousands of good modifications done to it.
I stated it before in this thread: modifications only increase the value of a car in the owner's mind, but in the real world, it doesn't increase the value at all.

My buddy posted this link up on our private FB wall...we openly discussed this sale / vehicle. I for one would never put $40K into this car. I would take that $40K and throw it into a P-Car or into my S lol.
