In an automotive world where people put 22"-30" wheels on an SUV, 20" brakes are a pretty good idea for both looks and safety IMHO.

Great - people put a huge wheel/tire combination that weighs 75-90 lbs on their already too-heavy SUVs and now they'll add a brake package that is twice as heavy as well.

All they're really gaining is the ability to absorb more heat. Chances are, they're rubber limited already and this system isn't going to do much more for them.

You're adding tons more unsprung weight and rotational mass for little more stopping power. If I had to bet, I would guess that it would take longer to stop with these huge brakes.

The lame tires they have on are going to dictate their braking performance, not the BBK.
