For someone who just wants a fun car, doesn't need creature comforts and doesn't need much luggage room. Would you recommend an Elise/Exige or a Cayman S? As a summer DD.

The Z06 was one of my top pics for a future car of mine considering I love the looks and the idea of having that fast of a car for ~50k. I've never heard of it lacking low end. For the price of a 2012-2013 GTR, do you think you'd prefer a used 911 Turbo/Gt3 or the GTR?

Summer toy car definitely Lotus. Cayman S if it's your only car or if you take long trips. I was shocked at the lack of grunt on the c6z and talked to my neighbor who owns a pro corvette shop/race team, he admitted they shine above 4k.

I'd take the 911 over a gtr at the same price point. For 70 you can get a 2010 Gtr but only an 07 gt3.

You can hear the mechanical noises of the transmission doing it's thing and the stock exhaust sounds great. I've read many times it feels like a boring Playstation game but my personal experience is that it's just the opposite.
Same here when I drove it. The people who say it has no soul either don't know anything but "feel" in sportscars or they are simply haters. I've never seen a car hated on so much so often by people who have never driven it. Idiots.

That's a far cry from an 8 second Godzilla. Much more like a 9 second Godzilla. Still damned impressive for a 4,000 lb chunk of ugly.

Well since you bring it up. The SRT6 is much better looking than the GTR. Power will never fix ugly.

If you had a Crossfire and a GTR parked in the middle of a filled stadium, you would probably only have say 112 out of the 30k people looking at the Crossfire. And more than likely, 95% of those 112 are elderly people who cant see well at that distance.
