8 second Godzilla
Article on auto blog reporting that Ghosn hasn't and may not green light a next gen GTR. Apparently he only approved this one because he was promised it would make money.
And only selling 6,000 units over 4 years, even if it WAS profitable, is immaterial. And it doesn't seem to be making a ton of money with that kind of small scale and massive price increases... Sounds like they were losin their ass at the beginning and tryin to catch up with the price... Except that car becomes pretty unattractive if the price creeps much higher, IMO.

That's a far cry from an 8 second Godzilla. Much more like a 9 second Godzilla. Still damned impressive for a 4,000 lb chunk of ugly.

I am disappoint that you didn't go on a ramble about how your amazing Crossfire.

Delusional...GTR is fuglier than my girlfriend and faster than me in bed.

There fixed!
Amen. If an 8 second STREET LEGAL car doesn't "do anything for you," GTFO of here. The fact that it's so "docile" and doesn't do it incredibly obnoxiously is a testament to the car. No one said it's for everyone, but wow, how someone can't appreciate something like this
.
.
For the same money, I would rather have a Porsche over a GTR. BUT how can you not like that video? I mean c'mon. Here's a car that looks pretty much like every other GTR on the road, but can do 8.9 @ 170mph. That is absolutely INSANE. I would love to ride in that car. If you are a car guy, you have to respect this machine. Those calling it boring, soulless and ugly remind me of those "pointy elbows" nerds who would point out flaws in supermodels. The GTR doesn't have to be your cup of tea, but damn, this car is amazing and you know it.

Haters own the internets.

+1 though the only caveat to that statement is that being docile along with its amazingly high limits can make it really annoying to drive on the street. At normal and slightly illegal speeds would feel like you are taking a nap. Having 1500 HP and only being able to use it for maybe .05% of the time could be very very irritating, probably like riding a Hayabusa in New York City traffic. But I would love to beat the crap out of that car for a while.
