Yes FINALLY I was able to get a solid pass on the R1. This was my very first try of the night and my very last. That was my goal, to be able to get'er on the 9s...I wonder what the pipe and the extra 17rwhp would do... I thought I would share...

How is riding in SoCal? There are just so many huge SUVs and H2s on the road that have drivers that don't know how to drive at all.
but 9.91 is an awesome time for something that costs 10,000 or so dollars.

99% of the time I'm in a group of 4-7 friends who ride, for the specific reason of safety. Riding in traffic isn't all that fun so we usually don't ride during the peak hours. Riding is serious stuff... I had an accident last year with extensive internal damage including busting my spleen in two pieces.
Allways respect your bike and be ready for anything.

5 ' 7" @ 170 lbs. is probably as ideal as it gets on an R1....remember though, too little weight and you won't be able to keep the sucker down.

Nice run, that's around what mags have. You should go test ride for them.
5' 7 @ 170lb is not small, I'm small 5'11 @ 150ish. But it works out to my advantage when I run with my friend who's 200+, and we both have R1s.
