Alternative thread title: Possible New Acura... For Me To Poop On!

Just messing with you, Rob. I'm interested to see what it is, too.

Hopefully it is a ~$50k sports car that robs the parts bin of the new NSX, but it does kind of look like a Crosstour...

The shadow photo tells me it will still have a long snout overhanging the front wheels by about six inches too much. Acuras all look like they need a nose job to me.

I lost all interest in Acura when the stopped having a sporty entry level car like the RSX. The TSX is kind of boring and spendy for what you get. Now that I can afford their larger cars, they are an afterthought.

They need an RSX replacement more than they need whatever goofy thing is in that picture.

The 4 cylinder TLX is actually a pretty great car. Just drove it on a road trip and got 35mpg average in Econ mode. Stick it in Sport+ and it becomes a pretty fun little car. The 4 pot is much more lively than the 6

Once Acura gets their shit together in the design department, they will start selling cars again. Just look at how well Hyundai and Kia are doing because of their designs??? and yes, it's because of their designs--they are no where near as good a car as a Honda or Acura in ANY other department.

This looks promising, although too much is out of view.

Hmm.
Hood doesn't appear to go much higher than top of front wheels. Like the S.
Good wedge lines.
Good fender flare.
Good Spoon hardtop resembling hatch.
It's promising.

You can only make it on good looks for so long (in the automotive world) before people start to catch on. Shame, really - they really have improved in styling and in other areas over the last decade.
