Wow nice #s, 320hp and 319lb!! Looks goods! Prob still not as fun to drive as the S though!!!

They can do that because they have easy access to 102 octane fuel over there (if I remember correctly). If you wanted to run race gas all the time you could just buy a wrx and up the boost for a lot less than what they are charging.

Haha, you could, but with all the suspension enhancements, upgrades to the interior, unique wheels, and a different aero package, it might cost you just as much to get a regular WRX upgraded with everything. It's not just about power..

Wow..that's the first WRX incarnation that actually makes me consider picking one up. IMO alot more tateful than prevous versions....much cleaner. Maybe its just the way it was photographed.

Not true. Here in North America, our octane reading is the avg of RON+MON. In Japan, they use RON.

So, it is 102 RON they have access to. 102 RON does not equal 102 Octane. It is roughly 97-98 Octane which is still higher than we have at most gas stations.
