Even if it turns out to be just rumors people's trouser are itching for the next successor or close to one is excruciating. Lets hope this rumor becomes true.

Also, did anyone else notice that what Peter Lyons constantly describes as a "spiritual successor" to the S2000 is actually the spiritual successor to the NSX. 300-350hp and mid-engined and a coupe? WTF is he talking about "S2000 like".

guys, I saw this same article on Yahoo news' front page, so you know it must be true!

 

I can see a less expensive alternate to the NSX when it comes out. Honda is moving back into the top echelon of motor racing and it would be foolhardy not to have products to capitalize on that effort. Who cares if McLaren-Honda's input carries over to the next Odyssey? They want that engine technology into something sporty.

 

The proposed car will be too different for proper comparison. Aside from displacement and seat count nothing else is the same.

 

At this cost, I bet you all three come out as Acura in North America lol
