Anyone ever driven an MB C55?
Anyone ever drive or own a Mercedes C55? 55k for 362 hp and 375 ft/lbs of torque ain't bad. It would make a nice stablemate for the S. Thoughts? Any other cars out there that would be better than the C55 for the money? Perhaps a BMW 545i?
AMG'd cars have gone the way of the Landau top. Just another expensive option which is worth strunes at trade in.
As far as the car, runs like a 1970 Hemi Cuda-all straight line- no razor sharp handling like the S. Very harsh over the bumps too.
When you're out of warranty-look out. Even little things like a radio become major $$ to fix because they are tied into major components.
Chrysler got the best part of the deal-their cars came up in quality, MB have gone down.

I've driven the C55 (as well as its predecessor, the C32). IMO it would definitely be a great car to keep the S2000 company. It has quite a bit of power and is pretty fast. Handling seems okay - pretty good for a sedan, but not quite as good as a true sports car.
For what it's worth, I think the numbers show that the C55 is faster, but I personally thought the C32 was a little more exciting to drive due to the supercharger.
If it were me, I'd also consider the M3, mostly because it comes with manual tranny.
