anyone have exprience with 05+ a6?
hello, i am planning on getting a 2005 a6 with 85k miles, and little scared with a german car with high milage. so i just wanted to hear some good/bad expriences if anyone have owned the car. Thanks in advance

But I have a 03 A6 with the 2.7L V6 bi-turbo engine. Bought it with 75k miles, and am approaching 90k miles in about 14 months time.
I've had the following done:
Timing belt / water pump (this is a must if it hasn't been done, and is very expensive if done by the dealer)
Replaced the left front axle - could have just done the CV boot, but replaced the whole thing instead
Front brakes - This was a known when I bought the car
Auxillary Coolant Pump - don't think you have one of these, but it's a common failure for the 2.7Ts
And I've done all the other work you'd expect, oil changes with LubroMoly, replaced the air filter, cabin filter, and fuel filter. Changed the trans and diff fluid as well. Changed the plugs.
I still love the car and I got mine for under $10k so I'm quite happy with it.
What I'll say is if all your money is going to paying for the monthly payment, or you can't do any of the work yourself, you might want to look for a different vehicle.

We have a 2006 A6. It's out of warranty now, which scares me, even though we haven't had any major issues, other than bad dealer experiences.
Same caveats apply as any luxury German car. Sure, they're cheap to buy, but they're really expensive to maintain.

The value in German cars disappear once the warranty is up. For obvious reasons..
