Default ANYONE, use lease takeover deals?

I have a really cheap lease on my truck that my buddy is looking to take over. Anyone use one of those lease take over broker sites? What are the details? I'm a car dealer but I have never personally done this or known anyone who has actually done it.

matt,

depends on the leasing company/manufacturer.

sometimes (like my audi S8), the orginal lessee is on the hook for the lease obligation even though the lease has been transferred.

lots of people in toronto do this....of course, it's a only a good deal to take it over if the guy looking to get out of the lease has put a shit load on money "down"....it's pointless to take over someone's lease if they did the "no money down" thing....in which case there is no amortized savings to be had.
