I'm sure its a fun ass car to drive but they've got the pricing all wrong!! That 81k is before the gas guzzler tax too

That *IS* a lot of dough for one of those, and it's not even a hardtop. But, I guess the price is for exclusivity, since I think only 300 are coming here. The C5 RS6 cost in the same price realm when it came out in 03, and now you can find them in the high 30s. I'm sure this RS4 will follow suit in 5 years' time.

Meh, wouldn't touch one.
IMHO, the things I like about the RS4 sedan (and the Avant) are: function (4 doors), all season (AWD), and stealth.
The RS4 vert doesn't have any of those qualities. And it's even heavier.
I'd do a 911 vert before an RS4 Cabrio.
Or Sti + M3 vert instead.
But hey, I think they're planning on selling ~200 of them. Someone will buy them.

What's with the rear parking system? So someone who's good enough to "work" a 420HP high performance car but can't parallel park on his own? Man, another high perfomance moniker leveraged into blvd cruiser
