I went to the Audi dealer to enquire about R8's and while I was there I think the salesman was bored so he told me if I had a few minutes he had something fun to drive. He showed me a TT s edition. The car was a fun drive and actually made me s feel boring. It has good torque but the kicker is the DSG. It was really fun. Downshifts are done without removing your foot from the accelerator and are seamless. It's about as close to a manual as I'd drive.
Just a car to look at that people may not know about.

The TT 3.2 DSG I had was a blast to drive when it wasn't in the service bay at the dealer. But that is what you get when you buy the first gen/first model year. Doh!
I imagine 5 model years later they have worked the bugs out.
Regarding the comment posted about the 2.0T vs the 3.2, I would agree the 2.0T has a more nimble feel (lighter on its "feet"). I drove a Stasis equipped TT 2.0T with the GIAC reflash. You don't miss any torque that the 3.2 had over the 2.0T, and with the suspension and brake mods, the car becomes a respectable performer. Gotta love those light weight forged Champion wheels they put on the Stasis cars, too!
