Miatas have become a very good value for what you get. I would not buy the MR2 before the Miata. I believe they are less expensive also but don't have the good looks. For what you would pay for a used S2000, you could have a Miata that does the quarter mile in 14.7 seconds or less and about $12,000 in your pocket.

First of all Nissan (YUCK), one step above Ford and Chevy. Correct me if I'm wrong isn't the 350 supposed try to save Nissan? Didn't they have to sell the HQ in Japan a couple of years back? I think that I recall reading something about that. Secondly one of the things I line the most about the S is that the production number is so low. I hate everyone else having my same car. Most of the time I have to explain to the regular person what an S is.

To that kid. Please explain to me why I should spend $6K+ Tax for 18" Rays Rims, Brembo Brakes and VDC (which is never used on the track anyway?) Cause that is the difference between Enth. Model and Track.

StopTech recently released a four-corner brake kit (sounds like pretty serious components) for $4k. Add in forged aluminum wheels for $2k, and you'll be at about the same price as a Track model. But possibly with better components. Plus you'll have an extra set of wheels for street tires.
The question is, however - will that actually make the car better on a track? Somewhat, sure. But $6k worth?
