Although big 4-cyl are interesting, I find tiny V12s to be way more interesting.

Just think 62-years ago Ferrari built a V12 that was half the size of the Porsche 3.0 I4.

The first Ferrari road car was the 1947 125 S, powered by a 1.5 L V12 engine.
That's just awesome!

Jeez, each cylinder must've been the size of a thimble, lol.

Yeah, little engines are interesting. The Mazda MX-3 back in the day nineties had a 1.8 liter V6 as I recall.

I think that the Porsche 968 had a 3 litre 4 cylinder engine. That the largest 4 cylinder engine that I can recall from the past few years.

The largest commonly produced that I can think of at this time is the Toyota Tacoma's I4 2.7l.

3 liter 4 cyl engine making 240HP (I think)

Must be cool to have a torquey 4 cyl NA engine.

I had a 944 turbo - that was a great engine.
So did I. I had the Turbo S. 500hp and 565tq, reliable as a civic. One of the greatest cars ever IMHO.
