I vote the GTR because of all the got damn threads on it lately

 

Wait 'til the next NSX, it'll have more buzz than this GTR.

So far 350Z has it beat in my memory. Oh, and the first C5 vette was close on buzz.

 

EVO X, M3. Its a sad pattern thats been going on as of late. We hype these cars up sooo much that they could NEVER meet all of our silly expectations.

 

im with him... maybe not buzz on cartalk.. but from a wideranging perspective, the E92 M3 was/is the most anticipated car of the decade... reason being... a lot of average enthusiasts know about it, versus there's only a relatively limitted amount of enthusiasts who even know what a GTR is... being its not on American Roads and any legend surrounding it is strictly in the Japanese aftermarket spectrum and it was never raced in any US series'... wheras the M3 has successively gotten better road prescence in showroom stock condition for the last 20 years in the US and represented in ALMS racing...

in-fact the big buzz surrounding the GTR is its Nurburgring times and that theyre taking along an internationally accepted benchmark (911TT). i think most of this is just aritifically made up to hype the car... the Japanese know how to hype better than anyone else... if were talking about which car has been the most hyped up... then it would probably be the GTR...

For this site, the S2000 CR probably had the most buzz.

 

I thought the regular S2000 had a lot of buzz back in the 90s.

 

Yeah GTR is up there.
