I've had a Celica GT for several years and the car has been sitting Idle for about a month. When attempting to start, the battery was dead so I put a charge to it for a couple of hours.
When starting the car, the dash lights began blinking about the same cadence and sound as the directional signals even though the headlights were off. The car has had a dead battery several times before and never did the dashlights blink after a charge.
I cut the ignition 2-3 times and re-started and then eveything seems to have returned to normal.
Any ideas what caused this?
