Default BMW 1 compare with S2000

hi, guys.. i know some of u guys already ordered the bmw 1 what do u guys think about the brand new 1 ? the power looks pretty nice compare with the S and also the price is in my range.....(i dont need N/V or heated seats.....stick certianly)

please give some opinion that u guys know so far, thanks....

If you can afford it and like the 135 I'd say go for it. You'll have to order it because dealers will have them optioned to the gills.

IMHO the two cars are as different as Shaq and Koby

I mean they both do different things.

Of course the 135i is the one people are talking about and it's got 300+hp and probably easy to get 380hp etc.

I do believe it's 500 or more pounds heavier than the S2000 and the vert 1-series (IDK) may be 800 lbs heavier than the S2000.

They would do different things well. The S2000 has short wheelbase and is like a dart while the 135i while not a big car is more like a javilin.

If you are interested in power and wheelspin no doubt go for the 135i or maybe a Mustang GT.

If you are interested in a 2-seat moderatly light moderatly quick little sports car the S2000 is still not too bad even tho it's 8+ years long in the tooth.

The S2000 is def 8+ years old so it doesn't have tilt steeringwheel or other features more modern cars have. But IMO it was built well from go and it's held up OK with it's advancing age.
