What does "the one Honda S2000 seems to have lost face" mean? I don't understand that sentence...

At any rate, the Z3's shown on that page all look to have suffered side impacts, whereas the S2000 had a frontal impact, so I'm not sure what comparison the guy's trying to draw. But hey, if it makes him feel better about his car, then I don't have a problem with that. More happiness in the world, no matter how baseless its origin, is all good with me.

I think the s2000 looks pretty good, the passeger cabin isn't compressed at all after what looks like a pretty severe front end collision.

Actually I read it more literally than either of your interpretations. I took it to mean that the S2000 has "lost its face". The face being the front of the car which is totally...well...gone. I did not see any verbiage attempting to compare crash worthiness of the Z3 to the S2000. In fact he said "the one S2000..." seeming to only be taking about that particular accident and picture, not the entire lot of S2000's. I think you are reading too much into it.

That S2000 on the bottom right was Greg's from January of 2000. It may have been the first S2000 crashed in America.
