OK I found the Ariel Atom!!
Now that's a serious cure. I wonder if they are legal in CA?
How long does it take to get one?
I'm going to find out.

I advise watching the videos on the website if you haven't already.
0-60 in 2.9 seconds for $45k!
0-death even quicker.
I am already skeptical about a car with such low weight. One where pieces of the vehicle that hits me actually stand a good chance of hitting me because there is nothing around me seems stupid. Might as well ride a motorcycle for a lot less money and call it a day.

w/ Steve C, for once!
Interesting thread.
My first reaction when I saw the thread title was that if you're bored with this car, you probably should just take a good dose of hemlock, cuz you quite quickly will be bored with anything you can afford.
But from your later posts, it doesn't sound like boredom at all, but frustration from not being able to drive the car like it was meant to be driven. That will be true of any performance car; moreso, I would think, with a Corvette, with all that torque.
So, buy a Camry for your commute (comfortable, and doesn't beg to be driven hard), and introduce your S2000 to the track. I guarantee that it will be a long time before you're "bored" with this car on the track.

I love how my S feels fast most of the time, or at least fun if not always fast. The M3 I had didn't start feeling good I didn't think until around 85 or so. I'm afraid a C5 or C6 would be the same, a C5 test drive felt like that. 0-60 was ok, but got there really quick without a whole lot of feeling along the way. Although torque is a cool feeling...but now I just make sure I'm at ~4k rpm and all is good!
