I would never buy a car without a test drive. And to be honest the S2000 was my second choice. Actually wanted to buy a used Jaguar XJR (I know the two cars could not be more different). "Accidentally" test drove the S2000, fell in love and bought the car the same day.

 

I wouldn't buy a car w/o TDing either. I tried making an offer on a WRX before driving it and the sales manager wouldn't let me! He told me to take it around before making an offer. I also never had a problem TDing new cars I just setup up the appointments with the internet sales dept of the dealership and show up.
