Calling Corvette Experts
Yeah, the 360Forged Vettes look great (not to mention they have some outstanding photography skills).
FYI, quite a few folks have swapped out body parts on a Coupe to the Z06 spec (and no, I don't think that's "posing" in any way). The rear fenders are a piece of cake, fairly cheap (you can see how small they are) and are a simply bolt on. No other changes required as the rear fascia is the same for all C6's.
The fronts are a little more complex - the inner liner is bonded and requires some BS&T to remove, the parts are quite a bit more (the OEM are carbon fiber, though there are FRP available in the aftermarket for 1/2 the price). Plus you then have to use the Z06 front fascia to match up with the larger front.
You're still into the car a good bit cheaper, plus you have a targa. Interesting setup - when I was considering a C6 Vert, I would have likely done the rear if not all around - looks amazing.

But after washing and waxing my C6 for more than 4 hours, a quick 30 min drive made it look all dirty/dusty again.

I swear, I'll never buy another black car again.

^^^ I totally agree, Dan. Black looks badass when it's clean, but it's such a PITA to keep it looking clean, and scratches show worse than any other color. Plus it's hot as hell in TX summers.
My first Vette (95 C4) was black. I loved and hated it every day
Then I went through a few cars/colors and when I bought my first C5 - it was black. I knew it would be terrible, and it was, but so fantastic.
I guess I space out my black car purchases so it's not a contiguous string of insanity. I *almost* bought my S2K in black, but decided the particular Honda silver was excellent (and the upkeep is +so+ much easier).

My C5 Z06 was black. It looked absolutely bad-ass... for about 15 minutes after I cleaned it. Then the dust shows up. It still wasn't awful if I was willing to use Zaino detail spray twice a day to keep up the finish but I got tired of that fast. If I had a trunk monkey to wipe it down all day I'd pick black again. Otherwise no.

I have owned ONE black car.
That's not uncommon. It's the people that buy MULTIPLE black cars that I don't understand.

As much as I love clean black cars, it's such a pain.
I'm sure most car enthusiasts will agree on this one.
Dan
hey [DT] I just realized you live in Vilano, I use to live out on Porpoise point way back when. I wish I could move back in the area.
btw black cars are a pain to keep clean, had one and not sure if i would go back either but it looks soooo good on a z06
