Car shipper recommendations?
Does anybody have any known-good options for shipping a car cross-country? Speed doesn't matter, I just want somebody insured who can get it here reliably at a decent price. There seems to be a pretty huge difference in pricing out there and I gather that not all options are very reputable.
What's your price range? Intercity is good but $$$ and enclosed. I shipped a Miata cheap from LA back to Dallas via DAS auto shippers. Dropped off at their LA hub and picked up at their Dallas hub in Mesquite. I think it was around $350 total, not enclosed.
I put an enquiry online through a website that sends it to a bunch of brokers. I ended up using Carmoza, I got a car shipped from Seattle to Michigan for $870 enclosed.
I had quotes anywhere from $600-$1500 and I ended up picking one in the middle. Carmoza did a great job for me, took about 4 days after they picked the car up.

What website was that?
there were a bunch of sites that came up when I searched for "car transport"I filled in the info and got about 10 emails back from various brokers. Carmoza and Cosmos Auto Transport were the best offers, they were both insured etc. The brokers are the cheapest option, they simply contact truckers in the area that are willing to make the run, or have space on their truck for your vehicle. This was door to door service as well, I didn't have to do anything.
