Car theft
I recently had my antenna stolen.
That doesnt bother me much but my question is why do people steal? What goes through their head when they do this. I personally would keep thinking about it and it would haunt me if I stolen something.

A friend of mine who is a VW guy and owns nothing but VWs once had an antenna stolen off his A4 Golf. Sometimes little parts like that are easy for people to walk away with (and easy to justify taking carelessly because they're cheap to replace) because all you have to do is unscrew it. I've also heard of peoples' cars getting the wheels stolen, and coming out to a car on blocks (with nothing else taken).
It's stupid, but it happens. The other counteracting element is the people who take the little things know it's more trouble than it's worth for you to pursue them legally (if you even had evidence) because just initiating the action would cost more money than the part or parts they took. And at most they might get slapped with a misdemeanor theft charge.

I hate thieves with a passion
I would love to catch someone f**king with my car. Like Travolta said in Pulp Fiction, "Oh man, I'd give anything to catch 'em doin' it. It would've been worth his doin' it (keying his Malibu), if I could've just caught them, you know what I mean?"
