I have bought: S2000, Sienna, Legacy, MDX (still have these 4)

He has bought and sold: WRX, 350Z, GS430, FX45, Toyota LC, M5, 740i, and currently ownes a different LC as well as M35 (that's 9 cars in less than 5 years).

I think I've averaged about 1.3 cars per year since 1998 including wifes cars.

Total of hmmm

14 cars since 1991

85 Ford Escort
87 CRX Si
88 Civic DX
93 del Sol Si
94 Toyota Tercel
95 del Sol VTEC
98 Civic EX
00 CRV EX
00 S2000
01 S2000
02 Acura TL Type S
03 MDX-T

Funny thing is Im done for a while. I love the cars we have now and dont want to trade them in. They are perfect for our lifestyle. I wouldlove a new M3 and I could easily afford it, but I just like my cars right now.

I think you need to add an option to your list.

"Experience different vehicles and don't have funds or garage space to keep them all."

In all honesty, it's a sickness. That is how I voted too.

You forgot to have a choice of peer pressure and/or trying to keep up with MDXluvr

Since 2000, I've had:
1986 B2000 pickup (indestructable)
1998 Accord 4 cyl (zzzzzz)
1996 Maxima (turned me into a car nut)
1999 Integra GSR (first high reving tuner car)
2000 4Runner (wifey ride, super reliable but crap to drive)
1994 Integra GS (DD for a couple months)
2001 S2000 (wife made me dump after 1 year, replaced with M3)
1997 Camry (beater sold to a friend in need for cheap)
1993 240sx (thought I'd become a drift king)
2003 M3 (got tired of SMG, wanted a 4 door)
2005 Tacoma (best truck on market bar none (Ridgeline is close 2nd))
2000 Explorer (had 1 week, worse vehicle ever, could not get it to engage 4wd in loose gravel, biggest pos and only domestic on my list)
1993 Camry (awesome DD, super reliable, didn't care about dings, stealth)
2006 M5 (great car for Germany, hated having 500hp in the states)
2008 Scion xB (great commuter, huge interior & refined for money)
2006 Cayman S (wanted a bit of my old S2k back in my life)

I'm 31 now and have only lost any real money on my damn BMWs, because I had to have them new. The garage currently has the Cayman, Scion and Tacoma. I love Toyotas, but too bad they don't make sporty cars.

I trade/sell cars because I usually get good deals & I have a weird desire to try as many cars as a can before I die. I see a Vette, NSX or STI/Evo in my future, but the Cayman is keeping me happy these days.

Well I'm glad you are listening Phil. However, IIRC I told you to upgrade the S2000 and keep the rest the same. It seems to me that you don't listen too well.
