I love how he's complaining that he can't "daily drive" his RS 4.0 in the rain because the R comps on it are crap when it comes to clearing water...duh.

dude wtf have you never seen a road race in the rain ? - newsflash! they are still using r compound tires and obviously they work pretty well if they can race on them. The Porsche however is a street car and still it's tires are complete garbage in the rain despite this.

Yes I have they use rain R comp tires designed for that specifically. The Pilot Sport Cup is a DRY weather R compound. You can't expect them to perform in the wet cold conditions. They put the PSC's on the GT3RS4.0 becuase most of the drivers aren't going to be driving it in the rain and most of them will be driving them on track. It's a bare compromise tire that will get you the most grip in the dry but barely still be street legal. If you want to drive in the rain all the time get an appropriate tire for the conditions.
