At the club level at Texas World Speedway...
A recent SCCA club race result shows a GT1 class Corvette driver doing 1:40.625. I have no idea the car's state of tune. To compare, a GT2 class 911 GT3 did 1:47.234 at the same race.
The CMRA track record on a motorcycle there is 1:41.717. Looks like most literbike race results are in the low 1:40's at expert level.
Draw your own conclusions.
