my friend is trying to buy 2001 Mustang Cobra...
when i searched on internet... it only saids 0-60 anywhere from 4.9-5.5 and 13.7-14sec??
what it like in real life? can it keep up with E46 M3? or is it similar to NSX?
i'm just saying in straight line speed...

The 2001's came with the 4.6L DOHC engine w/ 320 hp. I've driven my friend convertible version and I thought it was slower than my other friend's M3. It is notclose to the NSX, which I thought was even faster. It had a lot of torque, and it revved much faster than I thought it would but it is slower than a properly driven M3/NSX.

 

Depends on the NSX. Pre 3.2 liter (before 97) and it will be close.

MMFF managed a low 13 out of their 2001, but your average driver is looking at a high 13.
