Coming Jaguar XE

Can't wait. Should be a big success and something I will keep on the radar for lease specials! Their SUV is going to rock too!

It looks cool but since Jag does not offer a Euro delivery program it is at a serious disadvantage to Merc, BMW, Audi. Having had the good fortune to do it once, I dream about my next chance. The savings those manufacturers offer is roughly equal to the cost of your trip, so it is like getting an Audi S4 plus trip to Europe and driving around the ring or the Jag.
I like the car, but Jag should consider adopting such a program. I'd buy a slightly lesser car if the Jag was better, just to have the ED experience, and the cars in that segment are fairly equal anyway.
Nice car though, but the front end reminds me a lot of my 3 series.

The volume of Euro Delivery sales is very small for the German manufacturers. Jaguar is a niche brand with nowhere near the sales of the German brands. I could've sworn it is available to VIP buyers of Jaguar as is some customization.

I googled it before I posted and one post I found (yes this is the internet) said there were 4 ED buyers last year. But there is no discount, it comes out to be more expensive. I agree with you that it is more of a niche brand, but even if I am ready for the next model and the value of other cars is better than say a new 3 series, I'd still probably go 3 series just because I value the experience that much. Lucky, Audi and Merc offer it too (at discounts) so there will be some choice when the time rolls around.
But the Jag does look nice. Kind of curious what kind of package the Tesla for this segment will look like in a couple years. ATS is a good car too. Crowded market.

I just test drove one yesterday. A 3.0 supercharged AWD with R Sport trim. Fabulous car. Most aerodynamic Jag to date, has the same front suspension a F Type, 340 hp engine. Latest technology through out from Jag...
The steering is amazing. Haven't felt steering this good in a modern 4 door car ever. Dynamic Mode is like F Type and every nuance of the steering, transmission, throttle, etc... can calibrated to driver preference. The XE wins the class (IMO) for the best driver engaging car. Top spec'd car is around 65K; not bad considering top spec C Class and 3-4 series hit over 70K.
The brakes were average and the XE comes with 5 year 60K service included warranty. Very sharp car for those considering a similar class of car.

Does this car compete with the 3 series or the 5 series?
