Comparing Everything... '06 A4 vs. '06 G35
I am coming from a 2003 Acura CL 6-speed as most of you know and I know I should have my mind made up but after reading what people say they hate about the G35 I really am having second thoughts. Most people are saying that they regret getting the G35 because of interior rattling noises, horrible gas mileage, etc. I was dead set on the 350Z or the G35 and ruled out the 350Z because I want backseats. Looks wise I absolutely LOVE the G35 with the stock 19's but if the paint really is as soft as everyone says it is, and there are as many problems as people seem to report about hating the car, I don't know if its the best decision.
I really like the new body style Audi A4 that started in 2005.5 I think just looks a bit newer than the G35. And I've never owned and AWD car with a stock turbo. I know it would need a chip to even compete with the G35 in terms of straight line performance. But the gas mileage on the A4 is also like night and day from the G35. And it's a heck of a lot more practical with 4 doors, etc.
I'm 24 years old, single, only have a dog, lol. I will mod whatever car I get no questions asked.
Need honest opinions! I'm posting this on the S2K forum because you guys know what you're talking about and are mature unlike most car enthusiast forums.
Thanks!

Hmm, I'd still take the G35 as it'll probably be more reliable long-term. The newer G's (from what I've heard) are better put together than the older ones.

The only thing I'm concerned about the G is the oil consumption on the HR motors. I think those were the 05+. Had a friend had his engine replaced because the car kept consuming oil.

Add some parts from APR (www.goAPR.com) and you might change your tune about the A4.
Based on realibility though I would go with the G35.
