computer chip for s2000
I literally just got stuck staring at the post above for like a solid 60 seconds. It wasn't until someone walked by and said "nice GIF" that I realized I was doing it.
"chips" are usually just resistors that are wired into the IAT circuit, which tricks your computer into thinking it's taking in colder air than it is. Cold are is denser, so the ECU dumps more fuel in. There's various versions of this, but that's the gist of it. It's a terrible way to spend your money. I'd suggest doing all the other available bolt-ons (header, tp/hfc, cat-back, intake, etc) before getting the car tuned.

If you think you may be able to swing 3K over time then start with and aem intake, I suggest building your own exhaust, skunk2 header and tuning in that order.
