It is unfrortuinate that Socrates took the low road when confronted with corrections to his incorrect information and closed the tread. Personally some of his statements are so wrong I find them offensive and figure they should be corrected lest some poor kid read them and repeat them down the road.

the 3.2L engine of the NSX, is in fact a 320hp.. But due to some Japanese laws, they downgraded this motor to 270hp.. For those who don't believe this, you can change the exhaust, and ECU + intake, and the 270hp motor simply becomes ~340hp.. The US NSX is 290hp NFRs2000NYC, because there is not any kind of 270hp limit..

All this hubbub of a man-made object. One would think the NSX is a giant monkey in a cage with the fervor around here from defenders and "haters" alike.
Who freakin' cares?
The NSX is old in every dynamic and nothing will change that. Regardless of how fast or slow it is, I wouldn't mind having one myself, and that's all I'll say. If other people don't like the car, who'm I to piss on 'em?

I do believe the NSXR is 300hp. I think it was on top gear.
Its a great car, and I would love to own one. If its not for you, then its not for you.
The build quality on the NSX is rivaled by few, and performace is still great. (Not best, but great).....
MOST of the people on this board will NOT be able to extract all the performance the NSX has to offer. The only car in production today that I would think is better than the NSX in EVERY respect is the Ford GT. The Dodge Viper is a close second. The z06 is nothing more than a fast piece of sh!t. I would never buy one. They are disgusting to sit in.
People who like Z06s over the NSX have no business driving the s2k and should drive an SRT4. Costs less, and with a few mods, will destroy an s2000 in every respect.
