Coolest recall ever by Ford...

are you retarded? Nowhere was it stated that the problem in the 3 vehicles that experienced the flaming exhaust "problem"
weren't fixed. The very short quote stated that the ECU on future vehicles would "power down" when the "particulate filter" got too hot. The term "power down" could mean anything from a limp mode to shutting the truck off. When the problem is fixed by a mechanic, the ECU would resume normal operation, presumably :/
Again, nobody has claimed the injectors and "cracked turbo" were not fixed by a shop. All that was quoted was a statement saying that Ford was making a change in the ECU to prevent repeat incidents when there was a problem that might cause the filter to get hot enough to cause a fire. Where the hell are you getting the idea that faulty fuel injection systems or damaged turbo systems are never fixed?
We all know that Honda plays secret squirrel with TSB and recall data, that Toyota has quality issues as they increase production, and all things break, no matter who makes them. Your misunderstanding of the written word is only making you look like a fool.
