Default Curse you Mazda and your factory paint schemes

I have been looking for a 90-94 Miata and the same thing happens again and again. I find a well maintained one at a good price it is inevitably yellow/baby blue/whatever and I can't bring myself to even consider it because of the color. Real men drive miatas, yaddy yadda, but god damn, I have my limits.

no, wet sand it, prime it and spary it with duplicolor paintshop, you'll come out way cheaper and you'll have the satifaction of doing it yourself, but get a pro to sand and buff the clear coat

trust me, if you are doing your first body prep it will not turns out any where near the oem finish. you'll spend couple hundred to one grand to buy the proper equipments

clearcoat over a 1k lacquer rattle bomb wouldnt stop it from fading, compare to body prep shooting clearcoat is easier.

<--does it professionally

as to the op: yes, the powder blue(mariner blue) and sunburst yellow could be little too much for most male.

thanks for the support

I have successfully painted a car before, but am in no position to do so again. No garage, air compressor, gun, ect... (grad school). Yea yea, in time I'll find one, but hell, what kind of mental deficiency plagued so many original Miata buyers?....well, other than that associated with two X chromosomes
