It's not the same. Taking the wheel from an economy car and put it in your sport car is one thing. Another is taking the wheel from your sport car andf put it in your economy car

No really it's the same thing. The problem is GM chose a wheel with a really crappy looking airbag cover (the rest was fine). It's not that they shared wheels, it's that one wheel didn't look up to the job.

This is how I see it. The Cobalt is one crappy car to begin with and the Corvette is one the best sports car around.
And when someone buys a $70K Corvette, they probably expected more than a Hertz rental feel.

the hate on cobalts is funny here. both ss's were pretty nice cars. i love my s2 way more, but my cobalt was a blast and held up great...

My thoughts too. Nothing beyond the steering wheel really seems the same (unless you count both cars having air vents as similar or something )

i feel like the crz also has a similar layout to the s, mainly how the controls are right by the driver's hands (like a/c, temp, etc)

The cabin of the S was made to be simple and practical, something that is absolutely needed with the influx of technology in newer cars. I love the simplicity of the interior of my S. Makes it so much easier to concentrate on driving.
