Default Dashboard comparison.

Have you guys noticed the similar dashboard layout of the two cars?
I found it interesting.

Very similar. Are the diameters the same as well?

Is that the old insight or the new one that looks like a prius?

Well, I don't know about the diameters because I don't own an Insight.

According to Wiki, the AP1 was manufactured up to 2003 at Honda's Takanezawa plant, alongside
the Honda NSX and Honda Insight hybrid. In 2004 production moved to the Suzuka plant.

It's from a 2000 Insight.

The 1st gen insight would be a good compliment in a garage with an s2000. One is meant for handling and thrills, while the other for MPG and going green. Yeah the s2000 steering wheel is leather while the insight is not. I like how Honda incorporated a theme into both vehicles by having great similarities, but both have totally different purposes.

Corvettes and Cobalts were sharing steering wheels and everybody threw a hissy fit. Why does Honda get an ok for this?

Because the steering wheel of the Vette sucked, so people wanted the Vette to have a more special wheel; whereas the S2000's steering wheel is pretty nice, so it's okay for the Insight to have it too.

I think it looks more like a 3G TL dash.
