Default DME scan
So as I venture more into researching for my next toy. I read about DME scan for Porsche. I am wondering if this is just for Porsche or can I run a similiar scan for a Honda, Nissan, etc...

Depends on the car. Not all ECUs collect and store that type of information. Google can help you find out if a specific make/model does.
