You said you're looking for a truck - is that for utilitarian use? Towing? I think the towing spec is "not recommended" and payload is some kind of lame 700-800lbs. Not to mention towing in a manual 6-speed probably isn't a ton of fun (especially if you're trying to launch a boat or something).

These "high performance" trucks that can't do basic truck duty seem silly. 90K miles I'd run the other way. FWIW, *IF* I was looking for a "performance truck", I'd consider a Ford Lightening over the Dodge hands down.

A former S owner also bought one of these, and had it for a few months before selling it. The low mpg was a deal breaker in the end, plus its like driving a locomotive - lots of power but you barely get to use it. Not worth it imo.

Just wanted something with more room in really and maybe to tow the CR. I was looking at the 4 door F-150s. Like i said i was going to wait about a year or so to buy the truck in cash. Just thought this might be a great deal. But so far does not sound like it

Yeah, it's one of those vehicles that sounds cool "on paper".

If you're looking for a dependable truck, look into a used Taco or Tundra, or if you don't need the open bed and want 5 (or more) seats, a 4Runner. They'll tow small houses, and run forever. With the 5th Gen 4R out, there should be some decent deals on early 4th Gen (where you could/can get a V8 option if you want).

Plus all those are available in 4WD, which is extremely nice depending on your location/use/etc.

The image of killing a fly with a cannon comes to mind.... except in this case you don't actually kill the fly.

I personally wouldn't buy this regardless of the deal and especially since you have your s2k for the "fun" car. But, its your money in the end.
