GM sells new cars on eBay - its the first automaker to officially be on board with this method of selling. No clue about the pull down menu, but you can see all makes if you choose a type of car.

Ford and GM are both guilty of the same thing, really most car manufacturers are, its the only way they can afford new models so often, re using platforms and drivetrains. Its what made the industry what it is, starting with the model A.
