Default Drove an EVO on Saturday....

Local dealership has 2 of them...one sold before it got to the floor and Monday someone bought the other one. They both sold for $ 1 less than sticker

Anywho....here are my comments on my test drive...

Positive comments:
1. Very minimal turbo lag....very very nice power band down low, mid (could not tell you on top end....I only had it to 110 )

2. Lots of little gadgets inside....intercooler spray and hell of cool button to raise and lower the headlamps!!

3. Seats are awesome....I thought my S2000 seats were nice....I was wrong, the EVOs are

4. It handle extremely well for a heavy car....it was planted under very heavy cornering....

Negative comments:
1. Eventhough the nose is not that big...I felt like I was driving a Lincoln....
2. God...why the Altezzas?
3. Your livers will be chopped to pieces in a few months...the ride is EXTREMELY rough!

Now....the STi.....when the hell does it come out!!!

YOU DICK!!! ahah

I am waiting (impatiently) for my ing evo to show up here in Pennsylvania, and you are out test driving them 750 miles from me.

I am pretty surprised the car weighs 3250lbs.. that is a tank.

I am sure that I will still be happy with it.... if it ever ing shows up!!!

So far, no one has complained about the evo's on the www.evolutionm.net board.

Scot,

I thought you recently bought an 03 Cobra or was I getting my leg pulled?

If you did get the Cobra do you plan on trading it in on the EVO or are you just going to have two cars?

I'm confused if you can't tell.

I am so sick of hearing about this car. While I totally see the potential, I just see it as a rally car and not a true sports car. My buddy has a base lancer and that car just reminds me too much of it. How quick was it? I've heard #s from mid 13s to mid 14s.

That sounds really cool, I like the idea of the intercooler sprayer, good for hot days...
